Skybet Weekly Free Bet Club – You in?

I have to say, It's not often I find myself drawn to one promotion in particular, but Skybets free bet club has really cut the mustard for me!

The LowRiskWinner team (including myself) all see betting promotions come and go on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. If they are hot for a punter or beneficial in some way, then statistically they don't last. However, Since July 2025, Skybet have defied that by running a "free bet club" promotion, which rewards loyalty in a very unique manner.freebetclub

Sky bet, for those of you that might not be aware, are a UK based online bookmaker, owned by major media company BskyB, who also own and operate Sky Sports and Sky Television. In the past, they used their ownership of the Sky TV brand, to offer betting customers money off their Sky Bill by way of a loyalty reward; however this didn't really seem to catch on.

The free bet club, simply put, rewards customers with a £5 free bet when they place a £5 in the week previous. This appealed in particular to me, as the qualifiers have to be placed on accumulators, and my bet of choice is a £10 accumulator on the weekend football every Saturday (much to the annoyance of my wife), so by simply betting £5 of cash on a multiple I was going to bet on anyway, but choosing Sky instead of another bookmaker I got a £5 back, it seemed a no brainer.

I examined the terms, which is rather rare for me, as firstly I'm a man and not that anal, and also I'm extremely lazy. However this time I did and all that was required was I had to have more than one selection, seems reasonable, and wouldn't be a multiple otherwise! Another one being that the bets combined odds had to be a minimum of 5/1. It seemed that as long as I placed the bet by 23:59 on a Sunday, I would be rewarded on the Monday with a £5 free bet, which could be used on any sport. It really appealed for two reasons really, one being that regardless of if I won or lost, I still got a free £5. If I won, it was a free £5, if I lost; I looked upon it as an insurance policy if you will.

The best part was, I could do this every single week, for as long as I wanted too. If I missed a week though, it seemed I had to place a £25 accumulator bet to get back in the game, but as I said, I place an accumulator every week anyway, so this was very unlikely. What was almost 100% likely was all my future weekend accumulators would be with Sky.

So, I have one final point to finish on, I will definitely be a regular at Sky, it seems daft not to be. It's win, win for me personally. What about you? Are you in? Go on… makes sense, and you know it!
